Feeling sick
A little nine year old girl was in church with her mother when she
started feeling ill.
"Mommy" she said "Can we leave now?"
"No" her mother replied.
"Well, I think I have to throw up!"
"Then go out the front door and around to the back of the church and throw up behind a bush."
In about two minutes the little girl returned to her seat.
"Did you throw up?" her mother asked.
"Yes" the little girl replied.
"Well, how could you have gone all the way to the back of the church and return so quickly?"
"I didn't have to go out of the church, Mommy" the little girl replied, "They have a box next to the front door that says 'for the sick'."

Pornography – A Destroyer of Lives and Relationships
As I am writing this I am quite angry and yet sad at the same time. You see, I have encountered a very wicked thing on the Internet—a sin so horrific that it has caused me to become livid!
What is it? Well, you obviously figured out what it’s about by reading the title of this article. However, there’s more to it than that; and it’s far worse than you might think!
Deceitful Little Devils
A number of Internet pornography promoters are using Christian terms to lure people into lustful living and sexual immorality. In other words, they are giving their porn infested pages titles or descriptions that are reflective of Christian themes so that they appear to be something that they aren’t in the search results. Of course, they are doing this because they are trying to bypass anti-pornography filters. Thus they hope to deceive people into believing that it is a Christian site when in fact it is all about porn.
Such people obviously have no integrity whatsoever, as it is bad enough that they promote such trash, but even worse that they do it deceptively! Indeed, they are filled with greed and hatred for God, and are doing this not only because they want to lure you into their web of lust, but also because they hate what you stand for and would like to destroy your faith.
In fact, they don’t even care about children! Think about it: a child or teen could be searching for information about Jesus online and click on one of these links only to be led to a site that will likely burn a sexually explicit image in their minds that could do them great emotional harm for many years to come! And these evil seducers could care less about that! They are perversely destroying lives and relationships without remorse!
Breaking the Power of Satan over Your Life
Unfortunately, many Christians have already been lured into this heinous sin; and several of them have been involved with this addiction for years—desperately trying to find a way out of it, while feeling helpless inside.
Are you one of them? If so, don’t let this thing rule over you anymore. You can stop it right now by taking hold of the power of Jesus Christ; let Him break the chains that are keeping you in bondage to this sin! He can give you victory if you let Him.
The question however is: how badly do you want it?
Keep in mind that every time you willingly go to one of these sites you are essentially supporting this evil thing. Why would you do that? These people are destroying lives and relationships. Don’t let them destroy yours!
Take a stand for what is right and stop giving into this sin! You can put an end to it right now! But you have to want victory in Jesus Christ for that to happen. Will you let it happen? Will you let Jesus give you victory over this?
If you want victory then there are two articles that you should read that I believe will help you overcome this addiction (provided that you do what they say).
Please do not take this thing lightly! The articles that I just recommended for your reading will prove to be very helpful to you if you do what they say! Don’t let this sin consume you. Don’t throw the gift of salvation away for trash! For you could lose your life over this sin!
The Way of the Seductress is the Way to Death
My son, keep my words, And treasure my commands within you. Keep my commands and live, And my law as the apple of your eye. Bind them on your fingers; Write them on the tablet of your heart. Say to wisdom, “You are my sister,” And call understanding your nearest kin, That they may keep you from the immoral woman, From the seductress who flatters with her words.
For at the window of my house I looked through my lattice, And saw among the simple, I perceived among the youths, A young man devoid of understanding, Passing along the street near her corner; And he took the path to her house In the twilight, in the evening, In the black and dark night. And there a woman met him, With the attire of a harlot, and a crafty heart. She was loud and rebellious, Her feet would not stay at home. At times she was outside, at times in the open square, Lurking at every corner.
So she caught him and kissed him; With an impudent face she said to him: “I have peace offerings with me; Today I have paid my vows. So I came out to meet you, Diligently to seek your face, And I have found you. I have spread my bed with tapestry, Colored coverings of Egyptian linen. I have perfumed my bed With myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon. Come, let us take our fill of love until morning; Let us delight ourselves with love.
For my husband is not at home; He has gone on a long journey; He has taken a bag of money with him, And will come home on the appointed day.” With her enticing speech she caused him to yield, With her flattering lips she seduced him. Immediately he went after her, as an ox goes to the slaughter, Or as a fool to the correction of the stocks, Till an arrow struck his liver. As a bird hastens to the snare, He did not know it would cost his life.
Now therefore, listen to me, my children; Pay attention to the words of my mouth: Do not let your heart turn aside to her ways, Do not stray into her paths; For she has cast down many wounded, And all who were slain by her were strong men. Her house is the way to hell, Descending to the chambers of death. (Proverbs 7:1-27 NKJV)
“You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY.’ But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. (Matthew 5:27-28 NKJV)

Christian Purity
by Christopher S. Esty on December 4, 2008
“To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled. They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.” (Titus 1:15-16 NKJV)
The Greek word for pure is, ‘katharos’. It essentially means, ‘clean’ or ‘clear’. When something is ‘clean’ or ‘clear’, it is not only free from spot and blemish; it could also be transparent.
I like the idea of transparency as it suggests that nothing is hidden from the eyes. Of course, what this means is that if a person desires to be pure in the biblical sense of the word, then not only will their character be without spot and blemish as a result of Christ’s righteousness covering their nakedness; they will also be diligent to demonstrate what it means to uphold the highest standards for moral living.
You see, they will have nothing to hide from anyone because they won’t allow anything that defiles to infiltrate their conscience. Thus they will have no reason to be ashamed of who they are in relation to Jesus Christ, because they will be one with Him in truth and spirit. Hence they will honor His holy name by seeking to be pure and undefiled.
Does such a life describe what your relationship with Jesus Christ is like? If not, what is keeping you from experiencing this, and what will you do about it?
“And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming. If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness is born of Him.”(1 John 2:28-29 NKJV)
Inspirational Thought
God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling. (Psalms 46:1-3 NKJV)
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.” (Psalms 23:4 NKJV)
You shall increase my greatness, And comfort me on every side. (Psalms 71:21 NKJV)
Remember the word to Your servant, Upon which You have caused me to hope. This is my comfort in my affliction, For Your word has given me life. (Psalms 119:49-50 NKJV)
For the LORD will comfort Zion, He will comfort all her waste places; He will make her wilderness like Eden, And her desert like the garden of the LORD; Joy and gladness will be found in it, Thanksgiving and the voice of melody. (Isaiah 51:3 NKJV)
He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor punished us according to our iniquities. For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him; As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us. As a father pities his children, So the LORD pities those who fear Him. For He knows our ; He remembers that we are dust. (Psalms 103:10-14 NKJV)
Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. (1 Peter 5:6-7 NKJV)
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6 NKJV)
And in due time you shall see the fulfillment of God’s promise to His people unfold before your eyes: “And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” (Revelation 21:4 NKJV)
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ. (2 Corinthians 1:3-5 NKJV)
Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. (Revelation 3:11 NKJV)
Even so, come, Lord Jesus! (Revelation 22:20-b)
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. (Revelation 22:21 NKJV)
Corversion (poem)
Tired of struggling through life
Stumbling at every turn
Encountering tales which cut like a knife
Looking for something more
But the lot has been dealt
No longer do I want what I’ve always felt
Many try to convince me that God doesn’t care
Yet He withheld nothing that is good
Through Jesus His love He did freely share
I will place my trust in Him
And seek to do what is right
It’s better to believe than to accept a miserable plight
Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life
He is worthy of all praise
Where His voice is heard blessings are rife
Thank You Jesus for what You have done
To You I will lift up my voice and sing
For You are my Heart of hearts and my King
